Dave Callaghan talks Over-50s World Cup preparations
Almost 30 years after he last turned out for his country, Dave Callaghan will don the green and gold again when he captains South Africa at the Over-50s Cricket World Cup.
Now 55, the former Eastern Province stalwart has been hard at work sharpening up in the nets, and at the same promoting the tournament, sponsored by Evergreen Lifestyle, which takes place between 11-24 March in Cape Town.
He recently visited the Algoa FM studios to talk about getting a second chance to play for his country, and how preparations have been coming along.
