Zamim Amin will captain a powerful West Indies side at the Over-50s World Cup taking place in Cape Town next month.
The Windies are among the tournament favourites, with Amim one of the star bowlers in this format. He has taken the second most wickets in Over-50 cricket, 29, at an average of 16.
They have a number of players with top level experience - Sunil Dhaniram played 44 ODIs for Canada, Delroy Morgan played more than 100 games for Jamaica, while Ishwar Maraj has an ODI half-century to his name, scored for the West Indies against South Africa at the 2003 World Cup.
And in Azad Mohammed they have one of the star players of the 2020 Over-50s World Cup. He scored a century against Canada before the tournament was called off due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The West Indies are in Division A at the 2023 tournament, alongside Australia, Canada, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Zimbabwe and the United States.
The Over-50s World Cup, again sponsored by Evergreen Lifestyle, will run between March 6-20.
