King Cetshwayo District Cricket Club beat Amanzimtoti Cricket Club in the final of the 2023-24 KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Union T20 Veterans league at Kingsmead in Durban on Thursday, 25 October.
Amanzimtoti Cricket Club Veterans posted a final total of 134 for seven in 20 overs. Batsman Marc Shepard struck 41 and all-rounder Leon van der Westhuizen 36 not out. Spinner Charl Groenewald took three wickets and seamer Paul Gouge two.
King Cetshwayo District Cricket Club Veterans responded with 135 for seven in 17.5 overs for a three-wicket win. Batsman Robert Gous hit 55. Third-change bowler Chris Cronje took five wickets.
